Otterbourg Participates in International Lending Conference

Otterbourg partner, David Morse, was the co-chair of the 9th Annual International Lending Conference sponsored by the Commercial Finance Association held in London on April 28 through April 30, 2015 at the London headquarters of Bank of America, N.A.  The conference was attended by over 130 bankers, lenders, advisors, lawyers and others involved in international lending transactions.

The two day conference included panels on market trends and terms in multi-jurisdictional secured financing as well as panels titled "The Next Wave:  Eastern Europe and the Nordics", "Company Advisor Tell-All:  Winning the Mandate", "Asia-Pacific Forum:  Australia, Hong Kong, Singapore and China" and others.

In addition to helping organize the conference, Mr. Morse moderated the panel on "Convergence and other "Market" Trends and Terms" which included an in-depth discussion of what's "market" for business terms used in multi-jurisdictional transactions to deal with the complex corporate structures of international borrowers and the limitations dictated by legal regimes of different jurisdictions.  Panelists included representatives of Bank of America, Wells Fargo, JPMorgan Chase, and Siemens Financial Services.
