The 7th Annual International Lending Conference, sponsored by the Commercial Finance Association, in partnership with the Asset Based Finance Association and the International Factoring Group, was held in London on May 8 through 10, 2013 at the London headquarters of Bank of America Merrill Lynch.

Otterbourg partner, David Morse, was one of the co-chairs of the conference, which featured panels on banks and the world economy, the state of the international ABL market, syndicating cross-border asset-based facilities, and current structures in cross-border secured lending, as well as panels on legislative and judicial developments in jurisdictions around the world that have an impact on the ability to structure multi-jurisdictional asset-based credit facilities and an update on experiences with insolvencies involving multiple jurisdictions.

The conference was attended by over 120 lenders, factors, insolvency practitioners, accountants, turnaround advisors and lawyers, including representatives of the major international financial institutions.

Mr. Morse also participated in the panel, On the Front Lines: Current Structures in Cross-Border Secured Lending, included as part of the conference.
