On May 12, 2020, Otterbourg partner, David Morse, moderated a webinar on the impact of the pandemic on international secured lending.
The webinar began with perspectives from David Chimiel, geopolitical risk consultant and co-founder/managing director, Global Torchlight, reviewing the impact of the crisis on international business and aspects of the world economy.
After David set the stage, the panel discussed "How Lenders and Their Borrowers Across Markets Are Adapting to the Challenging Circumstances of the Current Economic Crisis". Marc Finer, Director, Debt Advisory Group, KMPG LLP and Robert Horak, Managing Director, Lincoln International, discussed matters from the perspective of debt advisors, while Scott Fuller, Director, Valuations, Gordon Brothers, discussed how lenders were understanding collateral values and Richard Hawkins, CEO, AtlanticRMS, provided keen insights into issues lenders were confronting in seeking recovery and key issues for lenders to consider going forward.
