ABI Views from the Bench: Ethics and Social Media

Melanie Cyganowski, member of the firm of Otterbourg P.C. and former chief judge of the Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of New York, moderated a panel today at the American Bankruptcy Institute conference held at the Georgetown University Law Center in Washington, D.C. titled Bankruptcy 2014: Views from the Bench--"Ethics and Social Media".
The panelists included Hon. Thomas J. Catliota, of the U.S. Bankruptcy (D. Md.), Hon. Rosemary Gambardella, U.S. Bankruptcy Court (D.N.J.) and Hon. S. Martin Teel, Jr., U.S. Bankruptcy Court (D.D.C.).
The panel discussed, among other things, the degree of disclosure required of bankruptcy professionals by Bankruptcy Rule 2014, professional fees and the Rules of Professional Conduct and their impact on social media.
