California’s “GDPR Lite”: The California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018

When California Governor Jerry Brown signed the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (“CCPA”) on June 28, 2018, he triggered a rush very different than the gold rush previous generations of Californians experienced.  This time, the rush is for covered businesses to comply with the law’s numerous requirements.
