What Happened to LIBOR?

A lot has happened to LIBOR!  The announcement in July of 2017 by the UK Financial Conduct Authority, the regulatory agency supervising LIBOR, that it would no longer require banks to report it, certainly brought to a head a series of long simmering issues about LIBOR continuing as the benchmark for trillions of dollars of debt products.  This article by Otterbourg partner David Morse reviews how we got here and what this means for lenders.  See article here.
