Otterbourg partner, Mitchell Brand, participated in a panel on Private Equity Operational Considerations and Best Practices along with representatives of Avalon Lake Partners, Ernst & Young and Accounting Management Solutions to discuss the handling of negative investment decisions and related legal consequences. Mitch provided insights into how to deal with troubled investments and the issues that investors need to consider when confronted with a distressed business.
The panel was part of the Private Equity and Venture Capital Conference sponsored by the Foundation for Accounting Education (FAE) held on October 1, 2013 at the Princeton Club in New York City.
