Otterbourg Associate Wins Pro Bono Award

Otterbourg P.C. is pleased to announce that Rebecca Algie, an associate in the firm's litigation practice, was honored at the New York County Lawyer’s Association Pro Bono Awards ceremony.
Ms. Algie worked with NYCLA’s Social Security Pro Bono Project in successfully representing a client in federal court whose disability benefits had been denied by the Social Security Administration.
The New York County Lawyers Association (NYCLA), NYS Unified Court System Office for Justice Initiatives, and the New York State Bar Association (NYSBA) co-sponsored the pro bono volunteer recognition event on Thursday, October 25th, 2018 at the New York County Lawyers Association Home of Law in New York City. The award was presented by NYCLA President Michael J. McNamara, NYSBA President’s Committee on Access to Justice, Edwina Frances Martin, Chair and Hon. Edwina G. Mendelson, Deputy Chief Administrative Judge for Justice Initiatives
