Otterbourg Expands Litigation Practice with the Hiring of William Moran

Otterbourg P.C. announced that William M. Moran has joined the firm as a member in the litigation department. His practice focuses on commercial litigation, crisis management, investigations, and white collar crime. He joins Otterbourg from Gibbons LLP, where he was a partner.

Mr. Moran represents banks, securities firms and other financial services companies, public and private corporations, partnerships, investment companies, shareholders, and individuals, most often in complex securities, consumer finance, or commercial litigation. He has extensive experience counseling corporate and individual clients on securities issues, crisis management issues arising from high-profile events.

Mr. Moran has litigated, tried (both jury and non-jury), and appealed cases in federal and state courts, and has significant experience in arbitration and regulatory/compliance proceedings in cases arising from the securities and banking laws. He is a member of the New York State Bar Association and the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association (SIFMA).
