Otterbourg Panelist at American Bankruptcy Institute Annual Meeting

In a panel at the American Bankruptcy Institute's 33rd Annual Spring Meeting in Washington, D.C. held from April 16 through 18, 2015, Otterbourg senior partner, Jon Helfat, participated in a panel for the educational sessions on Secured Credit Under the Code and Commission Report.
The panel discussed the controversial report from the American Bankruptcy Institute Commission to Study the Reform of Chapter 11, and in particular the potential adverse affect on secured creditors of some of the recommendations and how it would make the process more complex.
Other members of the panel included Anthony Grossi from the Committee on the Judiciary, U.S. House of Representatives, Daniel B. Kamensky of Paulson & Co., and James E. Millstein of Millstein & Co.
