The UNCITRAL Model Law on Secured Transactions

In July 2016, the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law ("UNCITRAL") formally adopted the UNCITRAL Model Law on Secured Transactions.  The Model Law offers countries an efficient and effective way to update their secured transactions laws in a way to encourage the granting of credit to facilitate economic growth.
