Otterbourg Presents at 5th Annual International Lending Conference

The 5th Annual International Lending Conference sponsored by the Commercial Finance Association, the Asset Based Finance Association and the International Factoring Group was held in London on June 13 through 15, 2011 at the Canary Wharf offices of HSBC.

Otterbourg attorney, David Morse, as one of the conference organizers and coordinators moderated panels on International Secured Lending:  The State of the Market from a Strategic Perspective with representatives from Bank of America, Citicorp, GE Commercial Finance, HSBC and Burdale Financial and A View from the West: Structuring and Borrowing Base Issues under the Laws of Six Western European Countries with representatives from the law firms of CMS in Germany, Mayer Brown in France, Lydian in Belgium, Garrigues in Spain, Houthoff in the Netherlands and Squire Sanders in England.  In addition, Mr. Morse participated in several panels discussing key issues in structuring, documenting and enforcing multi-jurisdictional credit facilities.

Otterbourg attorney, Jon Helfat, also co-moderated a panel on Workouts and Insolvencies:  Across the World, with representatives from workout firms and law firms with extensive insolvency experience throughout Europe.
