Otterbourg Partner Presents on Mediation in Federal Courts

Melanie L. Cyganowski, partner at Otterbourg and former Chief Judge for the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of New York participated on a panel titled “Mediation in the Federal Courts,” Sponsored by the New York City Bar and held on June 27, 2016 at the Bar Association headquarters in New York City.
The program provided a detailed overview of the mediation process in the federal district and bankruptcy courts as well as presenting effective advocacy techniques for use in mediation.
Judge Cyganowski (Ret.) was joined on the panel by Rebecca Price, U.S. District for the Southern District of New York, Gary Shaffer, Shaffer Mediation Services and Robyn Weinstein, U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York.
